Hi, my son is in div161. Do you have any info on when they go to BS? I did not get letter this week. We fly in from Washington state on Thur. afternoon. Did not know Div 161 moms have been on this site, just found it, wish I had found sooner so I could have talked to you all sooner.

Thats exciting! I have heard a few different time lines for Katie. She first told me that she would be in Cali for a year, then she last said six months. I know that she will go to TX for her training on how to be a CTI, but didn't get a time line on that. I guess we'll find out more when we see her. Look forward to meeting you too!

Hi! I got my first real letter yesterday! I was so excited I could hardly open it. He sounded very positive and much better than the first I'm safe form letter. I hope you are right about the phone call. I am sticking around the house in case he calls although my cell is glued to me at all times now. LOL Let me know if you get a call and I wil do the same. Where is your son going to A school?

It's unnerving not knowing what's going on, isn't it. Just know in your heart that they really want your son to succeed and to do well. He'll have to change a little bit to fit into the 'program' but those changes will make him a better man. My daughter went in with eyes wide open - two older brothers, one in Marines and one in AF and an older sister was in the Navy - so she knew pretty much what was coming. She still came out 'adjusted' slightly and not in a bad way. You will cry tears of pride and relief when you see him at the graduation - hang in there !

Hi Zacsmom! I'm not sure how that works?? Haha! I expect my son to know just about everyone by the time he graduates. He is quite the social butterfly! I have experience only with the Air Force so far and have been to 2 Air Force graduations! Can't wait to see how the Navy Graduation is!
