Where will Mikes A School be? Heath will stay in Great Lakes. He's going into Gas and Turbine Engineering.

I know what you mean. At least the mail deliverers are government employees so they should understand (?) our obsession. I feel so bad that you didn't get to talk with Mike! But I'm glad that his dad did. One mom missed her son completely. That would be sad. Heath and Mike have had the chance to talk which I think is neat they seem to have alot in common. I hope that you get the next phone call. I about tackled my daughter when she tried to answer the phone when Heath called (I'm so ashamed...) but it was good to talk with him. Don't be suprised when you talk with him if there is a Drill Sargeant in the background screaming the whole time. Oy, that was rough to listen to, even if he wasn't screaming at Heath. I'm glad you got two letters! Only one for us, but it was a good one. Have a great weekend! Enjoy what's left of this beautiful weather!

Hi Margie! I saw that you got a letter from Mike! We got one from Heath too!! And guess what? Heath is a Division Leader too! How cool is that? (Must be that Volunteer Firefighter in them). I hope that Mike is doing well otherwise. Heath is sick and he said that it's really hard, but he's doing okay. He's already been promoted too which means a raise in pay (Thank you Lord!) I really hope that you got good news from Mike. Let me know!!

I know what you mean Margie. It's been frustrating not hearing from the boys. I saw your comment about having a meltdown this past weekend. I truly understand. I do believe that they are doing well though. They had their graduation pictures done this week and I'm sure that that has encouraged them. This next week is all about the guns and I don't know about Mike, but Heath will absolutely love that! We have made plans for graduation. We are leaving Thursday morning and driving up. We are staying at the Courtyard Marriot. It's only about 2.5 miles from the base and it has alot of restaraunts and such around it which is nice if the boys want to do some things. I talked with my nephew today who is on his second enlistment and he called just to encourage me and tell me that "he is okay". So, let me pass that on....He is okay. It won't be long before we get to see them and then we'll get to talk with them alot. I'll be praying that you have a better week and that you hear from Mike SOON. Take care.

Hi Margie! Just wondering if you've heard from Mike yet. We are wondering how is doing? We are keeping him in our prayers and you too as you continue to deal with your empty nest. Hopefully we will get a chance to meet up in Great Lakes. Hope you are having a good week!

Well, they are not in the same division, but they are on the same ship then. We will know which division to look for Mike to be in at graduation. God bless you for going through today without Mike. I imagine it's difficult not being with him today. I'll pray that he has an extra good day today. I'm sure that he knows how much you miss him. Keep your chin up. Only seven weeks from today and we'll be with our boys! It will go by quickly ( I hope more quickly than these last 10 days..lol). Have a good day Margie. You can be proud knowing that you've raised your boys to be such great men.

Hi Margie! We received Heath's info the same time that you did. It was so good just to see his writing. He said that he is doing good and keeping his nose clean..lol...and that our prayers are much appreciated. He seemed to be doing well. Those friends of ours that had a boy go a week earlier than Mike and Heath said that they received a letter from their boy yesterday. So, perhaps a week from now we'll be getting letters too. I'm glad that Mike is doing well. Heath is on ship 10 Division 164. Are he and Mike together by any chance?

Thanks for the tip. I'll call ours now!!

Margie, I saw that you had asked about how many tickets you could get for graduation. It says on the Recruit Training Command websight that you can only get four. More people can go up, but they have to go through security with you and they will have to wait outside. Then, after the ceremony starts they will let people in if they have seats. If you go to the websight and look under family it tells you alot.

We really did enjoy the picture and the video Margie. We showed to his Grandparents last night and they enjoyed it too. Have you gotten any info from Mikes recruiter yet? Good friends of ours had a son leave 6 days before Heath and Mike, so they are letting us know when things happen for then. It helps to know what to expect a week in advance. They received their 'Official Letter' yesterday with his address and Graduation Date. So, by this time next week we should know when we are going up. Are you guys going to be able to go up for Graduation?
