Thanks for those who thought of me and prayers. My surgery went well and now I have 4 weeks of recovery to sit and write letters to my son, and check out Navyformoms.  I did get a 20 min call from my son last night. That was awesome.  He found out his A school will only be 7 weeks in San Antonio. Then he also found out that he has 16 to 21 days of leave after that. I wonder if they get to fly home for their leave and at what time he would find out where he might be stationed. He is a grad and go from boot camp..leaving at 2:00 a.m. for San Antonio on the Saturday 23rd.

On the boot camp moms group page in the discussion section page 3there is a link with about 9 of these questionaires. I like the one titled "my recruiter did not tell me about this".

I just posted the other ones above...you will have to open them and print them out. They are easy to read and fun to answer.

Lala--i had trouble to...lol I thought i could just copy and paste, but NOOOOO...haha!

I had to download them to my PC and then retrieve them from there. What we dont do for our kids...lol

Thanks so much Janlee.... some of them I found on here I wasn't able to open because my computer had a different operating system so i made my own lol.

You can make extra copies and send with your letter to your sailor and have them pass it along to their friends and the can fill it out and send it to their own family. Maybe even add a note to the top about N4M's and more parents can find out about this awesome site :-)

Lala--i have heard a lot of moms/wives, etc..saying that their SR's really enjoyed your questionnare..:) I sent my son the three that are posted and he loved them...he said he took them into the bathroom with him..haha! On the last one he sent home, he wrote on the bottom.."send more of these"..so i sent him yours. Not only do they enjoy filling them out...we actually GET the answers to questions...lol

NOW HEAR THIS...... I just posted a questionnaire in the discussions above. This is one I made and sent to my sailor about 2 or 3 weeks before PIR. So, you may want to go ahead and print it off and have it ready to send when it is a little closer to battlestations. It has a great paragraph near the bottom that encourages them and lets them know they can do this. You will have to copy and paste it and tweak it a little bit (my Sailor is a girl) but it is a good one and it is funny too.  I hope you all enjoy it :-)
