Hey all-

My son is in DIV 148 and he called me about some bank info :)  He said the scheduled call is the 22nd.  So hopefully, they will all do well and call then.  Just wanted to let you know.

Ladies...i dont know if youve heard..but now that your division groups are started..a lot of moms/wives..get together with others in their division and wear a particular 'color' to PIR..usually SCARVES!!. This isnt mandatory...just something fun to do. My sons division wore yellow ones and even the relatives and friends that attended PIR got involved. It is something for you moms/wives/GF's to think about and turn your minds to something else. Some PIR groups just did a group color instead of division color..once colors are decided, you can write your SR's and tell them which color to look for at PIR if they are able to get a chance to 'break' and look at the crowd to spot you!!! I know when i wrote my son about it, there were several others in his ship that said there families were doing the same thing. Some of us ordered matching scarfs (several of us ordered ones from LL Bean...they had a ships wheel embroidered on it!!) others used ones they had at home and some even made their own..

Its something to think and talk about if anyone is interested...have fun!!! Feel free to go into other PIR groups and see that they all do some form of this..:)))

I am so proud of my son in division div 139. he was chosen to be a leader.  He said he had his first dessert, an M&M cookie and he said it was amazing. hahaha  He is so funny.  Ladies..I am having surgery tomorrow, so I am hoping I will be all recovered and feeling good by the time of graduation. Please keep me in your prayers. I did not want to discuss this with my son too much because I did not want him to worry about me.
