Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Jenacfs- I hope you hear from him too! I'm assuming it will be in the afternoon some time. I'm definitely having my phone glued to my hip all day.

Just got another bundle of letters today! Attention everyone in ship9/div139 - My SR said that he gets his phone call tomorrow!! :) I'm assuming everyone in the division does then?!

MegsSailor:  The amount they are paid depends on their rank.  Also, they take alot out for their uniforms, but not sure which deposit this comes out of.  If you want to see what your SR gets paid, google it---2011 military pay for E-1, 2 or 3.

Mail time again- some lucky ladies get their mail today! I hope all the divisions "behaved" so that EVERYONE got to write to their loved ones on Sunday.

*Jen-He got paid awesome!!!!!! Now where the hell is out money lol!!! Our husbands left on the same say they are in the same PIR but not ship & div. I wonder if that makes a diff. Do you mind me askin how much? If you don't want to tell me I totally understand. I was just thinking if I could have a head start on the bills that would be cool. Mess me if you are comfortable with that no pressure.
