krici--they hold everyones mail for the first few weeks. The first letter or two you receive from them may state that they havent received any incoming mail. But im sure that by the time you received his letter, they had probably given it to them. My sons first letter to us, didnt make any reference to any of our letters or didnt answer any questions we had asked him, so we figured he hadnt received them, but his NEXT letter to us referred to all of ours, so we then knew he was getting them. After they give them thier first 'batch' of letters you wrote, they then start to receive mail EVERYDAY (except weekends).

I have a question about the DD form 1172 for the deers enrollment....my daughter isn't on the form. she's 6 and I know that she won't get an id but isn't she supposed to be on there to be in the program?

We got the forum letter today.  She sounds good and said "the food is great"

FEEL so much better getting the letter even though she didn't get to write much.

bn4givn:  The 144 group can't be changed, but you can add a discussion up above for that group.  Then whoever has created the 144 group may want to delete it and join in the discussion on this page.  Much easier, as Janlee said, to stay on one page then to go group hopping.  Once you start the discussion group, post on here so the ladies can find it.

chrisitine---he probably has received your letters be the time you even received his. That happens alot. I know its upsetting to us to have them thinking we havent written. Since they are able to receive mail everyday...just keep the mail flowing everyday. My son said there was probably 3 days when he didnt receive any mail and he was bummed out...hahaha! thats how much they look forward to it..:))

Hey Christine, glad you got your letter! My husband is in the same division and ship. I made my reservation at the Navy lodge and they only have a few rooms left, that was what i was told. Hang in there,i am sure more letters and a phone call will be on the way next week.
