Just made reservations at the Navy Lodge.  YAY!!!!!

Lora- I know u stayed there, how far is it really from the area where the PIR is?  They said it was 1 1/2 miles away and I thought someone had mentioned that it is right across the street from the main base.

Got ur message, thank u.  I will get back to u soon.

No, they don't call for that. Most families find out in a letter or like you said, the 3 week call. They do so many of them there I am sure they have it down to an art lol. My daughter said it was great lol, it was the first time she had heard music or seen TV in 3 weeks, other than the National Anthem and Anchors Aweigh lol.

If they decide to pull their wisdom teeth do they let us know or do we just find out at that 3 week call?

They are some of the ribbons I have made for N4M members to wear to PIR to show support for their sailor. I don't make them for a profit, just enough for supplies, shipping, and expenses. It is my way of paying it forward because without this site I don't think I would have made it through when my daughter was at bootcamp. There are more pics on my page and if you would like more info or to order just send me a friend request and I will send the info back to you.
