HI ...I just got back from my son's PIR 4-8..ITS AWESOME!!! Some things to do while in Chicago...Traroria Pamagiano in Libertyville IL.( Great Italian food and steaks~SR's eat free). Another good place is the Backyard Steak Pit.. Gino's East pizza is DELICIOUS Chicago style pizza, also Giordono's is good! The Shed Aquarium is really nice (just get there EARLY on Sat., they are only open til 6). Alot of the sailors want to go to Gurney Mall (its two miles BIG) and has EVERYTHING! The Navy Pier is a great place to go also.

If you need a taxi..call SARGE (847-212-0246) WRITE THIS NUMBER DOWN if you aren't driving..he's the BEST!.... tell him I SENT yA and he will take good care of you...most inexpensive cab you will find! He knows everything and anything about Chicago and is WONDERFUL!!!) Good luck and God bless you and your sailor.!! Keep in mind some sailors just want to RELAX, take a LONG, HOT SHOWER, SLEEP or watch tv. Its is very overwhelming for them to be in the REAL world, so do whatever they feel up to! HAVE A GREAT TIME!!! Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with! Denise
