If anyone in this group will be flying back to St Louis MO the Airport is closed due to severe storm damage. They do not know when it will open back up so you will want to check on what you should do to get back home. All our thoughts and prayers go out to all those who lost their homes or were injured from this storm.

nicolee- I am so sorry you were having a hard time. It is so hard to get so little time with them. You feel like you just got them back and they are gone again. Try to be strong. It will be much better in A-school. You will be able to talk to him and maybe you can start planning a visit there to see him. I hope you went to the airport this morning to see him before he left.

PIR was sooooo amazing!  We were first row front & center and had perfect view of my son when he was marching in.  He moved to his A school right after so didn't get to see him until 4:30 then he had to be back by 8:45.  He too gets liberty at 5 am....letting my exhusband pick him up and have breakfast together as I get him all to myself on Easter.  Meeting them at 9 and gonna have a Chicago day!  Truly amazing experience!!!

Left my son at 7:15 to head back to Wisconsin.  What a memorable day for all of us.  It was fun to meet some of the parents at Meet and Greet and then again today.  When Liberty was called it was sheer mayhem to find your sailor.  The rest of the day went so fast.  We had a wondeful lunch at Dover Straits in Libertyville and then our Hampton Inn hotel let us come back there and just visit in lobby with another family.  Of course the rain started back up as we headed home.  He is leaving early tomorrow for San Antonio.  My heart ached with such pride and emotions of saying good-bye.  I had done so good as to not shed a tear but now he starts his journey.  How great is that?  Thanks to this site for a wonderful ride the last 8 weeks.
