CDanielleR- he still should have time to pass. He will most likely be given more opportunities to take the test and could still pass and graduate with hi division. If his division has already been through battlestations then once he passes he can go through battlestations with a different division. He should have up until Wednesday to pass. If he passes on Wednesday then he would go through battlestations that night with the next PIR group and will be at the ceremony and have PIR but will be too tired to actually participate on the floor. So hang in there he still has time, he can do this. I will keep him and you in my thoughts and prayers.

jennieo10 - I found the information on the graduation packages.  It is on the brochure that was included in the initial information you received from RTC.  The website is www.mwrgl.com/carepackage.  Phone number is (888) 317-6971.

CDanielle - they will be moved to another division and will graduate then.

My boyfriend's division had their PFA Monday and he didn't pass the running. His RDCs gave him another chance today. Haven't gotten a call... so I'm praying no news is good news and he passed.

From what I've learned, they will give them another chance because they want them to pass and graduate with their division. I'm so sorry about this. I know how you feel. Please keep me updated.

My boyfriend just called, he didn't pass his swim test. So he won't be graduating next week. :( Im trying really hard not to cry. I know he can't do anything until he passes, but what if he passes after his DIV has graduated, does he get moved to another DIV? Does he still get a graduation ceremony?

Does anyone know of the link and tele #'s to order the bootcamp grad gift packages?  I know you have to order at least two full business days before grad (I think)...wrote it down and can't find it now:(

Thanks....Jen

Once he returns to A School base after being with you on liberty, he should be able to return with cell...unless for some reason, they tell him differentlly at A School.  But I think it is ok.
Comment by diannep on April 13, 2011 at 4:49pm
They usually say that it takes 2-4 hours for them to move over there, get instructions, etc.  Make sure he has a phone card with him to call you to pick him up after that.  The A School base is right next to RTC.  But he can't take cell with him from RTC after PIR...so therefore the need for a phone card to call you (unless he finds a sailor over there who lends him his phone!).  He will then be under GL A School rules but should have the rest of the day with you, and the weekend too (probably not overnights??  They keep changing that) except for watches.  He will find out once he moves over there.

So if my SRs school is in GL, how much time would I have with him the day of PIR?
