Hello Michele.
I am sorry if we missed you on the main page. It is tough to keep up with everything. We are happy that you found us. I have been excited at how many of us have loved ones in the Ship 11 Div. 123 group.
I did pass on Amtrax. I already booked on Southwest. Car with Avis. Hotel at the Hilton Garden Inn. I travel a lot and feel like that movie "Up in the Air." I get points with all of those. I guess it works because they definitely get my business!
Looking forward to learning more about you. We should have a great time in GL. I will likely need some women to take me. I surely so DO NOT want to sit with my ex if he goes.
I am so sorry, Mumz. I am with you though. I am in a total "funk" and just got a bit of the blues. I do not want to be in a hotel room by myself right now.
So, what to do?? Everytime I start feeling blue - or funky - or whatever! - I start writing to my son. He is getting so many letters! I sent him 3 just today. I sent a card, an envelope with more stamped envelopes and a small note, and then I made it to the post office, so I sent him ANOTHER envelope with more pre-stamped and addressed envelopes. (I got more supplies! :0)
$14 is way cool! I always loved getting paid to do laundry. I always collected money from laundry (never told anyone when I found it) and then placed it in a drawer. It just added up. One day the kids found it and raided it, but I guess it was theirs to begin with. I wish I had a chance to add it all up before they raided it though. There had to be close to $100 in there with $20 bills, $1 bills, a few $5's here and there and then the change! I figured I was saving up for the repair man to come and fix the machine whenever the coins got stuck!
I don't think they are going to put women in the same division with the guys. I think the divisions are the place where they have barracks together. I know a lot has changed, but I don't think they would mix them. I honestly don't know the answer though.
I hope that your night gets better.
