Well, graduation is over.  Got to spend Friday after graduation with my daughter.  She looked beautiful.  Didn't see her until they called Liberty.  The Div 126 sign was not really in front of where they were.  My camera doesn't have a zoom, so my pictures are of the people in front of me taking their pictures.  My husband brought binocculars but forgot to bring them to the graduation.  Up at 3 a.m. Saturday morning to see her off at O'Hara for MA school in San Antonio at 5 p.m.  At least we got to give her her laptop and cell at that point.  Hung out for awhile and her flight was at 10 a.m.  It seemed like we had just said good bye for Boot Camp, and here we were saying good bye again!  We cried.  Got back home late Sunday night.  Our 4:15 p.m. flight was delayed until 7 p.m.  So, with the hour difference and an hour drive home, we didn't get home until 11 p.m.  Had to go to work today Monday.  Did go in a little late.  Everyday was so early!  Didn't really see anybody I recognized from here.  There were so many people.  Saw a few LaLa Ribbons.  We had ours on.  She said she saw us, but we did not see her until they called Liberty and we went running out with all the rest of the thousands of people.  It was a very beautiful ceremony.  Glad it is over and she has moved on.  I'm in the MA group now.  I said goodbye once before, but I'll say it again.  Good Luck to all our graduating Sailors.  Very proud of a job well done!

We are safely back home in CA (arrived last night about 11pm).

What a trip!  My eyes are still sore from crying!  What a wonderful graduation!  What a wonderful experience!

We were able to spend about 7hrs with our Sailor on Friday, and then we were able to meet him at the airport and spend another 6 hrs with him on Saturday.

He loves the Navy...that makes me soooo happy!  And, now that he has his phone and laptop...we wont be out of touch as much!

How nice it was to meet some of you at the Meet/Greet.  And how nice to make new friends too!  I only wish that everyone knew about this site.......what a blessing you all have been!

I am sure everyone has a wonderful time with their Sailors...even if just walking around the mall (like us) and hanging out for a bit in the hotel room!

Best Wishes to all of us...and our new Sailors.

I think July 27 or 28. My daughter's first official day will be Wednesday, today and tomorrow I think is just orientation.

Friday's graduation was absolutely amazing! My son is a whole new person (a good thing) lol. I got to spend the weekend with him, since he was staying at the GL for HM corpsmans school. Anyone else have a loved one that started corpsman school today? I would love to stay in touch. My son, is in good hands, its like one big happy family!

Ragdollrae, I was VERY surprised!  I was prepared to bring her back every night.  She came out after moving and her liberty briefing and said she didn't need to be back until Sunday night.  Apparently it was just the sailors in corpsman school that got overnight liberty.
