Hi I am new here and was hoping to interact with others. My son left 2/7/11. I still have not spoke to him. I am praying he is ok and adjusting to bootcamp.

OK. It's been driving me crazy.  I'm trying  to find info on the airports, mainly Milwaukee airport.  But come to find out it is not in Illinois.  It's in Wisconsin!!

Thought I would share in case any of you are going thru the same dead end search.

ntz- that is awesome that you got the form letter and that she lieks the RDC this early is very good.  She will probably be one of those who come out of bootcamp saying they love it.

I just got back into town and checked my mail.  My form letter came!  My DD sounds good~ the note definitely sounded like her.  She actually said she likes her RDC.  What a relief to get the letter!

Jen believe me you are not the first nor will you be the last to do that lol. You should take a pic of the cat laying on his coat and send it to him. I bet he would love that.

When my son's clothes arrived, I put his carhartt coat down for his cat to sleep on it, she sleeps nowhere but on his coat, and of course I smelled his shirt, just to get his scent...call me nuts, but I did...LOL

It is great that they have a holiday tomorrow YAY, but that also means the mail won't run tomorrow :-( I am back from a scrapbook crop for the weekend. We had a great time and I got a lot of Navy scrapbook stuff made for my sailors scrapbook. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I have my fingers crossed for you all to get letters this week :-) and who knows maybe they wrote letters today and will get to write more tomorrow.
