Hi I am new here and was hoping to interact with others. My son left 2/7/11. I still have not spoke to him. I am praying he is ok and adjusting to bootcamp.

Momma2USNSailor: Here's the link for the division tshirts:
Click ENTER; Click Travel Discounts/Recruit Grad tab, scroll down to "mail order form" and click. Phone numbers are on the form
Ladies, these are division tshirts designed by the sailor(s) in your division with their very own logo. You won't be able to see the logo on the form, but the shirts are a wonderful keepsake for you and your SRs. Your SRs have a chance to order them too and may be surprising you with one! Better check with them before ordering.
Lala Ribbon Queen will be posting again on here soon, or scroll back to her posts in this group. You can send her a friend request-- after checking out her page to see the ribbons. She does a great job !
Also Momma2USNSailor: Sounds like you were posting on mamaseals personal page if it said she has chosen to moderate comments. That doesn't happen on this page.
YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I can really share in the excitement with everyone else!! The letter was here and I got a little note.
Funny thing.. I know that Denise was upset that her son did not send it to MOM. LOL - my son addressed mine "Stephanie" I wanted to slap him through the paper!! Hehehehe - I am so excited!
Mumzie...Yaaaaaaaaay!! Congratulations on 1) the letter! and 2) your son's leadership position. That is wonderful news!!
Koz...Yay for you too! You got your letter too. How wonderful and yes, how proud you must be!
Momma....Yaaaay for you! Another mom got a letter! LOL on the "more questions" My son was in choir for a couple of years in school, beautiful voice, judging from his 11/128 location, it was as I suspected....LOL His beautiful baritone voice is a secret! LOL Reading the posts on here about how they ask if you have musical talent, all I could think of is how there was no way my son would ever step forward and admit it. LOL In fact, the only reason the choir instructor even knew of his musical gift was that his big sister was an extremely gifted musician (she told on him), and I was one of the main accompianists in our small community. Perhaps your son confessed that he could sing? LOL
Lisa...Total bummer! LOL Yep, got another letter into the mailbox today and waited eagerly for the mailman. "Yaaay! There's the mailman. Boooo Nothing but bills! " LOL Dang it!
