Hi I am new here and was hoping to interact with others. My son left 2/7/11. I still have not spoke to him. I am praying he is ok and adjusting to bootcamp.

Mom1Girl, I'm so sorry you won't have much time together , but just seeing her again and the changes she's undergone will make your heart swell with pride, even if for a short time.  I wish you all the very best.
Riptide, sorry-that WAS the picture, I guess I thought that was the simulated ship they used for Battle stations!  Oops!  See y'all soon!

This will be my last e-mail.  My daughter made an "unofficial" call to me at work and told me that she has to go to the airport on Saturday.  She had orders to leave on Monday.  Now we only have Friday to be with her.  Only bright side is that we will go to the airport with her and she can have her laptop and cell phone and then I will not have to ship it later.  But, just such a precious few hours with her instead of days. We are heartbroken.  See you at PIR.  Don't know how I will know who is who by our N4M names.  I will have a LaLa Ribbon on.  They are beautiful.  Will be dressed in blue and red.  I have white hair.  (Probably from all this worrying.)  Good luck to all.  Thanks for being such wonderful friends and for all the advise through this incredible journey.  Will leave and go to the MA group.  Love you all.

@MamaSeal....where is the picture located?  I saw 2 pictures of SRs  heading into USS Marlinspike....where they learn to handle lines, but I can't find one of them going into battlestations!  Are you teasing me? LOL

mumziepooh, thank you so much for the update for DIV 124.  I had to look back 7 pages to find an answer. LOL :)  Congradulations to all the PIR's of 4/8/2011.  I am so happy for each of you.  If for some reason I do not have your e-mails, I would like to say to everyone that wrote to my SR (The one with the Knee problem), Thank you all so very very much and my GOD bless each and everyone of you and your "Sailor".  I will never forget the blesses that me and my son received from each of you.  Thank you so much and again congradulations to all.
