Congratulations to all of the new Sailors!

Now everyone can rest easy and focus on travel.

Michele - you are with us in 123 in spirit and we will be with your son on 4/15 in spirit. When I talked to my son, he went on and on about him for at least 10 miuntes and how great it was to get IT because of him!! lol (you know what I mean)  ;0)  Will miss you, but we will plan a trip to san Antonio very soon, my friend.

Absolutely GO, KIWI!  You won't regret it.  PIR is phenomenal, not to mention seeing your new sailor in it!
Comment by ntz4laa (HM Mom) on April 5, 2011 at 4:45pm
Just remember Kiwi, just because he leaves for the airport at 2am doesn't mean that you won't have a good part of the day with him on Saturday. They all leave for the airport at 2am regardless of tyheir flight time. He could have an afternoon flight. Make plans to meet him at the airport USO.
Comment by five10fevr(HM school) on April 5, 2011 at 4:29pm

My son tried to do the same thing because he is a Saturday departure at the latest. We will not miss this for the world so no matter what he tells us we are still going.

Everyone~ the time might be limited but enjoy every moment you get with them because that is what memories are made from.
