Hi I am new here and was hoping to interact with others. My son left 2/7/11. I still have not spoke to him. I am praying he is ok and adjusting to bootcamp.

TexasMom, my husband is in Div 124 Ship 11 and my husband said everyone did great during Battlestations on Thursday evening but didn't say if everyone passed. So excited for Friday!! The hours go by so slow!

I don't think there is any overnight liberty. The sailors staying in GL still have to be back every night by 8 or 9 pm.
Comment by MamaMia on April 4, 2011 at 10:47pm
I'm not really sure they get overnight-maybe just extended leave.  I'll talk to my daughter, who spoke with him today.  I'm just getting on that plane and seeing what happens when I get there :-)

Jessica - my son is going to be CTR - he had his FBI interview last week but nobody else has heard anything yet.  As I understand it, the security clearance holds people back from classing up.
