Oh - it is ok - I just want him healthy - he told me he was going to Tranquility - could hardly swallow for the last week or so but he pushed thru.  He doesn't want to miss a minute of graduation.  I am sure it is a virus with all of the peanut butter shots they have gotten!  And exhaustion........and the adrenalin release.

I never heard from my son tonight and they won the Capt.'s cup. He sounded really sick last week, so I wonder if he just skipped the 'recruit's heaven' or ?

aw well, just a FEW more days!

Mumz - if he went to sick bay and got SIQ, then he would not have gotten to call. My son said that he almost went to medic today and was glad that he didn't because someone else went and got SIQ and was not able to make calls with the rest. Maybe that was yours??? Possible? Sorry that you didn't get to hear from him again. Only a few more days though and we will all be as happy as clams! I have no clue how happy clams are, by the way, but if it is based on my happiness for next Friday, then they are some pretty happy suckers!!  :0)

I got a call today and he called it "Recruit Heaven" also! He said they got 2 hours and they had access to gaming systems, pool tables, internet and phones. He also said they had Subway, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. But it wasn't a reward for battlestations cuz my SR doesn't go through until tomorrow night. Still so glad they got to enjoy such a reward, they have all worked so hard to get where they are now!!!  :D

"recruit heaven" sounds a lot like the reward challenges on Survivor!
