To add to Lala comment - Since you have a digital camera with unlimited photo's, take pictures of the various 900 division people. They are the ones in Blues (or white?) that are helping people, carrying the flags, band members.  Alot of those sailors have PIR the week or two after your PIR.  Ask them when there PIR is, and if it's after yours, tell them you want to take their pictures and tell them to let their families know you'll post them on N4M's so their family can enjoy seeing them.  I took 93 pictures of the 900 division following my nephew's PIR, and those families really loved seeing what their sailors looked like a week or two early...

For you digital camera owners- When you get to the PIR hall you will have lots of time on your hands. Use that time to take pics of everything in the PIR hall. Look at the pics and change the setting until you get the setting perfect for the lighting you have. Your pics will turn out much better and you will be glad you got the settings right before they march through those doors and you see that all your pics are dark or blurry.

When my daughter was there 4 girls in her div got asmoed 2 weeks back. 2 of them was because one gave the other a cough drop and the other 2 were for talking when they weren't supposed to. The 2 that were talking learned their lesson very quickly and were able to come back to their original division. The 2 with the cough drop had to call their families and have them make new travel plans for a later PIR date. They really don't mess around very much when it comes to rules.

NMO1G- Craig & Diannep are right a plan B is always a good idea. But I really doubt you will have any problems. The two that were changed for us names were very different,  not related to each other at all, didn't even have the same last name as my sailor and one was male, one was female. But please do come back and let us know how this turned out so we will have better info for others in the future.

Denise:  My son got asmoed when in bc for not reporting to the RDCs that a shipmate had "fraternized" with a female SR and got her phone number.  The guy had showed my son where she wrote it down for him.  This was early on in bc and they wanted to let the guys know that rules are rules....my son was mortified that he was supposed to "snitch" on another shipmate...but there is a reason for all of the rules, whether the SRs agree with them or not.

I will say that in my son's case, the week asmo was a good thing for him.  Taught him a great lesson about rules/compliance and he came back into the new division and did great.

You are too funny, Craig, and I understand what you mean.  I am definitely one with plan A, plan B, etc in place in times like this!  I agree that they need to be prepared for anything.  Hopefully we will hear how it turns out for them. Just hoping that one way or another, he gets in to see his girl PIR!
