OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 3/07/2022**

Mask Mandate has been lifted but you are still required to be vaccinated.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Are there any Moms of new Sailors heading for Master of Arms A school?

I've heard that more graduates from ship 12 are heading to Texas and I would love to hear from you. So far I've heard they will leave on May12th.

Our son is going to Texas for MA schools also from Ship 12 Div 183. We were also told by our son that they would fly on Wednesday...not sure if the plans are still the same.
Hello Teacher Mom. I heard graduation is July 2 so I've been looking up tickets and it's not so easy from Seattle to get to San Antonio do you think you will be able to go to graduation? My son loves their new location. Have you talked to yours?
Yes, our son also said July 2. We plan on going to the graduation but have not looked up airfare yet. Oue son also told us him roommate is from Washington. Do you know your sons roommate? Our son is also enjoying the freedom. I sent him his cell phone on's the small things that make a guy happy. He sounds very upbeat and a little stressed about the paper spray Friday.
We are from Washington. I didn't ask him about his roommate but when he called he was using someones cell phone. I'm glad I have the date right because that would be a bummer to miss graduation. Is that today friday?
Yes.. today 5/21 Maybe your son and my son are roommates. Do you have a facebook account? I looked at flights last night and found a few about 250 to 350 depending on the length of the stay...longer better price. We have every intention of going regardless of the cost..maybe even extend our stay.
5:40 p.m. in Washington and my Son just opened his mail to find his cell phone! He yelled out to your Son "where are you from" he said "Ill" I said, "thats him, thats him" and it was. He said he was glad pepper spray was over! They are having great runs and time is flying! Back to air times and costs, It's a long day and very $$ but worth it to see my Son. I'd fly to the moon to see him if I had to. I've heard the Marriot on the river walk is really great. Well I hope to talk again soon. Until then...
