Hi there,

I thought it would be fun to see if there are other Moms with kids in this same group. I have already joined the May 20, 2011 PIR group but thought it would be fun to meet others in this same group. Just to keep tabs on each other and our kiddos! Since the 927 Div is a special division , maybe once we start hearing from our children, boyfriends, girlfriends and spouses we can get to know about each other and all of them and thier accomplishments! Lets brag about them here!

Let me hear what you think? Then when PIR arrives we can find each other to support them and be proud together.

Talked to my husband for 42 minutes!!! Oh I'm so excited that he's a Sailor!!

I got a call from my Sailor!!  He said all the division passed!!  HOOYAH!!  When I heard his voice after all this time, it was the BEST feeling ever!!!!!!!  I love him SO much!!  I'm so proud of him!!!  Hugs to all of you!!  Sigh of relief now!!  We can now concentrate on packing and getting to Great Lakes!!  I look forward to seeing you ladies at the Meet & Greet and PIR!!

Got a call too!  Haven't heard his voice since the first day call home.  Said they all passed and he was extremely tired. Thinks he is grad and go early Saturday morning so we will make the most of the time we have. He is looking forward to performing at PIR.  Leaving tomorrow a.m. see you all at meet and greet!

I can now kick back and wait for a call from his gf and maybe my Sailor himself! I told my Hubby and he has tears in his eyes!! He is sooooo proud, it made me cry and now I am a total mess!
What a rush I'm so proud of my sailor! Best 42 mins ever! I can't wait for PIR. Everyone passed! So proud of 927
BRAVO ZULU!!!!!   Go Navy!!!!!!
I was going to post last night after I heard from my Sailor, but my mom, sister, kids, son's gf, etc all came over for a celebration and we made ribbons for graduation!  It was such a high to talk to him and then to spend the evening with my family.  :) So happy that they all passed and that they can relax a bit before such a big day!  I can't wait to meet everyone and get to see our boys and girls show us their Navy stuff! Be save traveling to GL!
As I understand it from our Sailor ... we will all be sitting together in the 927 section during PIR.  Let's all make an effort to introduce ourselves when possible.  See you all there!
I'm so excited and happy!!! Two days in a row I got to talk to my husband for more than a half hour, and he said that they got to go to the fast food on base....Damn Taco Hell, I hate you...And they said that they had to "work" off the fast food they ate. I'm also starting to pack for my flight tomorrow. Who else is excited???

Anyone know how to get their divison  shirts and can we still order them?

thanks

ccmmom

Our Son gave us one, Try posting to the PIR group they may have the answer for you on the shirts!  There are really cool! Wow what a wonderful weekend! I saw all of our ribbons! Just didn't get a chance to talk to everyone! I was so thrilled to meet those of you I could, you are all a great bunch of ladies!! I had to leave the meet and greet to run to meet B's gf, bless her heart there was a mess with her rental car. But we got her safe and sound! B looked so great! Time went by way too quickly!
