Gerry:  Best to dress more casual for PIR, and have a jacket that you can take off in the PIR Hall.  With 12 divisions, it will be pretty full, but you should be fine.

Also, no worries. It is a little bit of a walk to the Hall from the front gate where the shuttles drop off, but if your husband gets tired, there are sailors posted around the base with wheelchairs, ready to take people into the Hall.  We took the shuttle when there and it was a breeze.

aveoamare is SO right!  Please get there EARLY!  Gates to the base open at 6:30.  I can't stress EARLY enough.  So important!

are you suggesting the shuttle over driving.  My husband is handicap and I thought if you took the shuttle it was a much longer walk on the the base. I'm so nervous I don't know what to do

From Jenn, take a shuttle if you can, or get there really early since RTC is on lockdown they are doing car inspections.

we are also staying at the Ramada I can't wait.  But not sure what to pack, do we dress, up or go casual to the graduation.  I know they pack you in and it's bleacher seating.  I just don't want to sweating.  Also does anyone know what the weather is like out there the next couple of days.
