I do! My son is in Div 916. We are stil finalizing plans to go to the PIR. If we go, we will be staying at the Holiday Inn. Are you going? If so, maybe we can have a meet and greet.
Yes we are planning on going. My husband is graduating. We are staying at the Hilton which is 14 miles away. It's easier for us because it's kinda like an apartment and we have a 8 year old duaghter and i am pregnant. You are the only person who I have found who has someone in this div. so is he on ship 6 as well?
I thought I was alone too! My boyfriend is Ship 06, DIV 916.
And I'll be staying at the Quality Inn
It's so good to find some people who are in the same ship and div. I can't believe it. Can I friend request you guys? So are you going to the meet and greet? I am not sure if I will or not? It depends how our flight goes. It's so good to talk to people from the same ship . Are you guys getting letters and phone calls. I have gotten a bunch of letters. And a total of 4 phone calls some have been short and some of been long.
Hi, my daughter is in Ship 06 DIV 916. Can't wait until March 5!
4 phone calls! lucky. I've only gotten one but last tuesday they were allowed 20 minutes to write and so my boyfriend did. It was nice to get a surprise letter. So far I've gotten 3 letters total
Amanda I missed 2 of the 4 calls I got. One i was looking forward to telling him I am pregnant. The 2nd one he got my letter telling him I was pregnant and I missed that one. I felt horrible about it. As for letters I have gotten 16 or so . I was hoping they would get calls this week. I can't wait for this to be over. Where is your boyfriend going after bootcamp?
That makes a lot more sense. My boyfriend is going to nuke school at Goose Creek, South Carolina. Congrats on your pregnancy! I'm glad they allowed you to try to get a hold of him to tell him. It must be hard.
And I know my boyfriend is extremely busy. He's on Ships Staff but writes me whenever he can, even interrupting sleep for it so although it's not much, I understand and cherish what I've got and the sacrifices he makes.
my husband is going to Groton CT for sub school. I wonder if they know each other? My husband is doing something like that . I forget off the top of my head what his job is called. Are you moving with him?
I have Facebook you can also contact me that way as well. If you want I will give you my info. My first name is Heather
I would love to talk over facebook! Its nice to have someone else in a relationship going through this so I know the statistics aren't my fate as well, if that makes sense.
I bet they would know each other. Ask your husband if he knows the guy who is supposed to be designing their division flag? That's my boyfriend :).
I'm not moving in with him immediately. I'm in college right now as a sophomore and plan on continuing to become a marriage and family counselor but I think I might be able to graduate a year early and spend time with him while he's still in school before I go to graduate school but right now it's just a dream.
Since we're not married I can give you my full name if you want to find me on facebook. It's Amanda Niegowski.
ok I will Facebook you. It's super hard on here because most everyone is the mom and not the wife or girlfriend. But I have made lot's of friends on here. Everyone is so nice.
My son is also in div.916. He's 22 yrs. old. We already booked our flight and hotel. His girlfriend is coming with us.
