OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just wanted to comment on something that DONNAD had written the other day. She said that we should be able to find our kid in sea of officers all dressed alike, just like how a lion knows which cub is hers. You couldn't have said it better. I cant wait to see all of you. I know that I didn't write much but I sure did read alot of all of your comments. They all went to my blackberry and i swear that its the only way that I've made it through this past six weeks without a melt down!! Navy Moms ARE the best!!!!
