Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Comment by Nona on February 22, 2010 at 6:55pm: Carole, GATE PASSES! Do I need one for each of the four of us going??? Or is an ID enough????? My son wrote 4 names on his "attendees". One couldn't go, so my brother is going with me. Will that be a problem?

Comment by Donna D on February 22, 2010 at 6:05pm: Chris in MI..I do not have an ID for my 16 year old, she has a permit but not a drivers licence...I did get out her birth certificate an SS card, all I can do is hope they will let her on the base. Why do they assume a child over the age of 13 has a photo ID.

My son had originally put a name on his "list" of attendees and one couldn't make it, so I'm taking my brother. HOPE that won't be a problem. My son said that it wouldn't. ???????????????

I called the # that was listed for trouble shooting and the commander there said, well your going to have to write her a letter so she can send it to you, I cannot give that to you. So frustrated.
