I'm staying at Candlewood Suites in Waukegan. Not sure the nightly rate - we booked as a package through Priceline. Thought that the suite environment would be nice if Chris wants to just chill and watch TV or something :)

I am staying at the Homewood Suites Lincolnshire also it was a little pricey but I think it's worth it .

I wouldn't worry about the letters. Chris said that they really have only had time to write on Saturday night or Sunday. AND ... he did both tell me on the phone and in his last letter that he has been studying a lot and working on all the details for inspections...shining boots, ironing, organizing his rack...etc etc. I know that he has a test this week on Naval History and some other topics as well. I think the are just BUSY and exhuasted...:)

~navywifecooper: Oh silly me. I just realized this was posted on the 3/05 PIR site. Are you going?

~navywifecooper: I have been sending him letters in a Question format with multiple choice answers. (circle and return) We figured this was the best way to get the most info to me. He always writes a short personal note with it. This time he sent back 6 in one envelope that had one stamp, therefore Postage Due. Also, one week he had watch on Sunday and was unable to write. Hang in There. I just kept rereading what he had sent until I heard from him again. Sorry I know how hard it must be not hearing from him. Everyone tells me no news truly is good news. When is his PIR? My son got a call home on a Saturday afternoon 3-1/2 weeks into RTC.

Dorie, when Chris in MI spoke to her daughter, she told her that Div. 111 was a "Push" Division. We weren't exactly sure what that was, but they are being "pushed" through quicker than the others, thereby loosing a week.

I received a call from my daughter Div III and almost missed it. Thank-goodness she called back again, but she cried when she heard our voices and said how much she misses her daughter. She is getting through everything, passing all her tests. Hopefully we can get another call again before graduation.

Hang In There:) I did not get any letters last week. Monday of all days I got a huge envelope with postage due. I think that was the delay. My son has been so tired he asked me to send him a bunch of my questions with at least three answers he could chose from to circle. He has so little time and is so tired it has really worked out well. I send it with a self-addressed stamped envelope so he can return it easily too.
