I know. It feels like walking around with an empty space inside. My husband is being very encouraging. He was in the Navy as well and keeps reminding me about how long it took to get letters from him when he went to bootcamp. I don't remember it being this long, but he says it was.

Toni - I was just thinking the same thing. The only ship 07 div 112s I have seen that recieved mail were from guys. Maybe they are just not allowing their mail to go out for some reason.

Received the box and form letter about the second week. I am crazy for a letter. She sounded fine when she called to let me know she was there, and her note on the bottom of the form letter said she really thought bootcamp was "cool". We are very close and not hearing from her is killing me. I write every day and have even sent stamps so she can write back. I am sure she is writing, I just wonder why I haven't gotten any yet.

Cathy(Chris' Mom) - I have a duaghter in ship 7 div 112. Still have not received anything from her other than the "I'm here call". Have you recieved a letter?

All I know - is that - if he hasn't called he's OKAY!! LOL.. I'm still really sooooo happy about his last letter. I hope he gets to call soon...but as long as he is feeing more confident and getting through - that's the most important thing to me. Chris has never been an athletic kid - he worked hard to get ready for RTC and he really wants to be a sailor...he was so proud even wearing the Navy T- shirt that the recruiters gave him. I admire his determination and willingness to REALLY challenge himself because he believes in what he's doing...and I am so proud of him. I guess when he calls - he calls... :)
