: ) It is sad some Sailors have no one to support them but God Bless them for trying to make there life a better place... Dustin's recruiter has been most excellent with me. I have called him no less than 4 times and he always answers.. Twice he has talked to me for an hour.. What a tropper. He leaves the recruting office the first of June and will be stationed in pensacola. he told me to call the office and get his cell phone number because if I have any other fears or questions I can call him and he will still be there. What a GUY!! There are 50 - 80 in a divison. That is alot. I wonder if they come in contact too. I wonder if they have time talk at night in bed or if they are so exhausted from the day... I have told Dustin I have met other moms too. I update him on my Navy for Moms stuff every week. I knew we proably would not get a call today since they are "newbies" After all they are trying to tear them away from us mothers that have babied them to death... LOL.. I understand the point but the RDC's hava mama's toooo... Happy Mothers Day to you. I know the Thursday night before graduation Ramada Inn has a meet and greet reception at the hotel for Navy families... It would be great to meet you... Happy Mothers day as well...

Well sad to hear there are sailors that will have noone there. And I am glad you got the info! I was told if I try to contact his recruiter in anyway he would sign in a more dangerous job so I wast going to touch that one! haha So I am glad one of us could. ;) How many are in a division???? And I wonder if our sons are coming in contact.? I wrote Danny today and told him about this site and I was able to connect with other people he was there with! It is a termendous support! I guess we wont get phone calls since they are fairly new I am thinking. I want to go shopping but also am afraid to leave the phone. :/ Happy Mothers Day!

Yes he said it is a big enough place that all will get in.. He has been serving for 17 years and has been so extremly helpful throughout this whole process. He said there are some Sailors who dont have anyone attend.. (TRAGIC) so there are usually extra seats for the overflow... I have 10 people I am bringing. That is why I had to call him on Friday and talk to him about it..

OK so thats good news...I was a bit concerned. My son has his father and I, 4 siblings, and a girlfriend. Did he seam optimistic that everyone gets in at least?

Hi NI39: My son is Ship 9 DIV 223.. I talked to his recuriter about the tickets. He said the 4 tickets are for the guests that will have a seat inside the arena. You can bring other guests but they will have to wait until all the ticket guests are in and seated before they can come in. Then they will have to stand for the ceremony. That was a load off my mind. I have so many family members that want to come.
