OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
The most important thing I learned was the respect that each person, sailor, recuirter has for one another.
Our Navy experience so far...

Hi! Looks like we are in all the same groups except I added Pensacola A School as that is where Jerry is going after BC . Have you received any letter from Caleb yet? Im keeping a note book on info I've learned here to pass on to Jerr for BS 21 and other stuff. I'm anxious, as we all are, but know this is a process -- for all of us! ;)

OK, I'm still trying to figure out how the blogs work. LOL I'm so proud of Caleb! I'm glad you found this site. I know it's been hard on you and I'm glad you are able to network with other Moms and family members to help you get through. Won't Caleb be surprised when he finds out you're learning right along with him. LOL
Love you sis!
