Matilida: My son is the RCPO: It stands for Recruit Cheif Petty Officer. He is responsible for the whole DIV when the RDC's are not present with maiting order and following the rules. He calls out all the commands while they are marching. He also has an assistant RCPO that assist's.. When the DIV marchs in on graduation he will be leading them in carrying the cutalss (sword) and shouting out all the commands.. Each DIV has a RCPO.. I hope that helps...

KylesProud Mom: I was devastated when I read what is going on with Kyle.. We had a terrible storm with 95 mile hour winds roll through Northern Indiana and it knocked out our eletric.. My heart hit the floor and the tears started to roll.. I feel your sense of urgencey for prayers and the sadness of all he has worked so hard for the past 8 weeks coming down to this... We serve a BIG GOD and when 2 or three are gathered in his name in prayer he hears them.. You have all of us pleading your case and asking him to grant Kyle mercy and let him carry on. He will pass that PFA and Battlestations I know in my heart.. I feel it... We are going to see you Thursday and wrap our arms around you for all that you are going through and for Kyle pressing on and pushing through these last few tests and becoming a SAILOR... The power of positive thinking his huge... Keep the faith Nancy!! I will pray for hiim every time I pray for Dustin throughout the day... All this week... My heart hurts for you and I can only imagine how painful this is.. Although you didnt elaborate on the step om thing I have one of those situations as well. I love you and I am lifting you and Kyle up to heaven's door and placing you at the feet of Jesus.. To fix this and give Kyle all that he needs to go on!!!!

Jenn, Can you forward your calls to your cell phone? I'm heading out for the day today and I'm forwarding to my cell just in case she gets to call.

I had to google it:

RCPO - given symbolic E-7 rank insignia on his collar. He carries the saber and marches the recruit company whenever the Company Commanders direct. Otherwise he marches in the front rank. Also in charge of overall discipline when company commanders are not present.
