To Kyles mom . I myself as everyone else is praying for you . Please keep this scripture in mind:
Therefore I tell you, Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe it , and it will be yours.
Mark 11:24
Cast all your cares on the Lord. We will get through this.

I can not imagine the thoughts rolling through your head at this time. I believe these boys have pushed themselves harder than we could ever imagine and it is finally taking a toll on them.I am so sorry to hear this.I know these words you are reading right now cannot fix what has happened. But hopefully our prayers will heal him.
Just believe the BEST can happen!

dmab: I sent my son's contacts on Monday. I live close to GL's, he told me I could send them it was fine with his RDC's.. But I am going to make him put those glasses on so I can get one picture of him in them.. LOL..

Cheryl: I feel you honey... I am so excited too. Can you imagine what the guys and girls are saying.. : ) I bet they are bubbling over with joy as well.. X O

dmab - the new sailors I saw at PIR all had those funky Navy glasses on! I know that the female recruits can ask family to send them limited make-up products. I have no idea if they are allowed to wear contacts when they are on liberty (which is very different than "leave"). Maybe ask this question on the Boot Camp Mom's group - someone with a sailor who wears glasses may be able to answer that!

Does anyone know if we are allowed to send contacts and solution so they can wear them for graduation?
