Oh boy what a trip this is. Our flight got canceled yesterday due to weather in Chicago and by the time they lifted the cancellations all the flights to Chicago were full. so we they offered us a flight to the next nearest city that wasn't full. Guess where that was......Minneapolis/St. Paul. So by the time we got to Minneapolis it was 8:30pm then we had to rent a car needless to say we didn't get in to Waukegan until 5am this morning. I was soooo tired and cranky and then I remembered what our now sailors (male & female) went through the night before and that put me in my place. Got 5 hours sleep and I am ready for today. I am praying the weather does not effect any of your flights today!! God please part those clouds away from Chicago so that those flying in today can get here and be at the graduation tomorrow morning. Thank you Lord, Amen!!!! Safe travels everyone and we get to see our sailors tomorrow....woooohooooo!!!!

@msleahmom I commented on your PIR group. And (!!!) i remember what the name of the place is that you get tickets from. It's the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Information, Tickets and Travel office. Not sure where it's located, but your sailor can ask at the NEX. They sell all kinds of tickets such as six flags, midieval times, and several different chicago attractions at discounted prices. Adult six flags tix are usually 54 dollars, we got em for 34..

The call really wasn't as earth shattering for me as I thought it would be.. he was all tired and moody lol so it really wasn't like.. OMG the earth just stopped moving. At least you'll know that even though you're missing the call, you're on your way to see your sailor :)
