Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I know it hurts so much and we know and understand all the sadness, anticipation, wondering and impatieness.. I just know good things are going to happen for you today... When you hear his voice it will lift your spirit to higher ground and we will be able to live on that for a while.. : ) I cant wait to get on this afternoon and check in to see what you have to say... Today I woke up and saw the sunshining and just didnt want to get out of bed, I couldnt think of a positive reason to do so... I miss having someone beside me to make me smile the moment I wake up:( I really hope 226 gets calls today.. I have yet to get a letter also... since yesterday was a holiday here in canada it held up the mail ..... I really reallly need just anything to get me thru

UROKDD...thanks for the thoughtful thought....i pray every night that god will be over all our kids and keep them safe along with us parents too...i do believe god has a plan for us all and soo far hes doing a great job with all our families...i just cant wait to hear her voice...she had to call home a week after she was there for some banking info and she cried then....so im hoping by the letter i got shes doing better...shes a streong girl so i know she can do it..i told her when it gets tough the tough keeps going...shes gone through many obstacles in her life soo far ,she can can get through this too...well i owe i owe so off to work i go lol...HUGS TO YOU ALL

No, nothing from our division, yet!!! I finally learned how to forward our home phone to my cell, yesterday, if that tells you anything!!! Don't worry, I'll be sure to post IN ALL CAPS when I do hear (which I hope is today!)

NI39: That is such a nice compliment. Thank you.. My greatest joy is helping others when I can.. I love N4M's. 7 people flying bless your heart.. I am sure it will be something they will never forget.. It will be so amazing to see the pride and honor of our new Sailors walk into that room.. I get goos-bumps thinking about it.. : ) I know tomorrow we will celebrate your call.. : )

jjh1029-I know I didn't not wake up this morning and tell God I needed to work on patience, because boy I'm telling you that is the lesson of the day. I keep waiting for our phone call. I'm sorry for your news, just remember June 2 is a long time away, try to stay in today.
