I am so happy for all of you that recieved calls.. How thrilling. I know there are not enough phones for all the divisions to use so I am sure they each have their day. I was hoping for one but my son said in his letter a few guys are holding their DIV back so I know that the call wont come unless those few turn around. I have read his letter a 1,000 times I have it memorized...: ) I noticed my Dustin cussed a liitle more in his letter as well... : ( He never had a potty mouth..: ) Maybe he will lose it once it gets out of boot camp..

Happy Birthday to your son! I bet anything you will hear from him tomorrow. I have no idea how many phones they have there. We were on the phone over half an hour, which I never expected. I will say a prayer that he calls tomorrow.

My son Called tonight! I was so excited! He sounded a bit more mature and a bit more grownup. He said things are going pretty good even though it is a little rough. He said the food was decent, they got their dog tags, and they wear digital blues.I hope everyone get a call this weekend. My son is in Ship 4 Division 814. I am looking for his friend's Mom. My sons name is Stephen and his friend's name is J----n. They used to go swimming together at the Aquatic Club in Philadelphia and they would ride together to Willow Grove Air Force Base to take their tests.

I asked my son about the dirty socks. He said someone pulled the same stunt last night again!! 45 minutes of intensive training for every time they pull that stunt!! You'd think they'd learn the first time around!

They need those little reminders from home to boost them up when they feel they cant carry on. Dustin said the days are hard but more better days than bad days.. I am starting to wrory about his mental health now.. LOL I cant wait to see our new Sailors when they enter that building with pride and commitment and strength for enduring the past 8 weeks of yelling and frenzy and madness. Your a good mama.. : )
