: ( AWW BIG HUGS TO YOU... I am sure that moment took you back... I can not even imagine. When I get letters for Dustin in the mail I start to cry it is the darndest thing. I cant imagine pulling out her graduation pictures. I bet she is so happy that they arrived in your hands while she is away... You have something to take with you and give to her at graduation. I am sorry you are having a hard time.. I am thinking of you...

Thanks for the bit of info Anna! You are much appreciated here and I look forward to meeting you.
Another good thing to send our kids is some of the Top Ten Lines Home from Boot Camp (I love the one about "we all look a like here!). It's in the Forums, currently on page 5.

Hi Linda - We have 6 DIV graduating instead of the 7-11 DIV that can graduate at one time. So I think we will have extra room for any of our flow over families that come.. : )

Matilda, the letter is above in the Discussion Forum "A MUST READ..." I sent this to Jerry, also. The Questionnaire is also in the discussion forum (on page 3) and you can modify for your son, as well as "SOME FUN THINGS TO SEND YOUR SAILOR". Our sons are in the same Division so please let me know if you hear from him and how the division is doing.
DIRTY SOCKS!!!! I wouldn't put it past him but hope it wasn't Jerry.
I did not see a register for the Meet & Greet, yet. Does anyone know about that? Also, someone said our PIR is a smaller group -- any idea of how many that is? Almost through Week 3 -- seems so much longer...!

Jill: You are so right.. The hardest thing for me was when Dustin said some of your letters made me laugh and some made me cry and he thanked me for giving him leadership advice. I know the letters that made him cry were the ones that I had to BUCK UP and put on my friendship vest and tell him to stay strong and take heed to what the RDC's are telling him even though it seems pointless and cruel. I said there is a reason for their madness and you will not understand until a few weeks from now but then the light will click on and you will say I get it now.. I am sure they all miss the comforts of home, their bed, their food, their lives with their friends..And being able to grab something out of the fridge when they just feel like munching.. You are a good mother Jill.. Keep pressing him on.. Fan the flame for him that he is doing the right thing.. : )

Cheryl MY DEAREST: Maybe Harris was on watch the night they were able to write. Dustin wrote me on a Friday when he was on sick leave after having his wisdom teeth pulled out.. My heart is so saddddddddd for you. I want to come down to TX and swoop you into a great big hug...I now it is maddening.. I can totally understand how you are feeling..I know I got a letter but before I did I know the agony of the waiting game.. The only thing that brought me a tinge of comfort was hoping he was getting mine and feeling my love... My heart hurts with you and for you Cheryl...

Matilda: The letter from the dad is above our comment wall in the discussion forms it says" A MUST READ FOR ALL NAVY LOVED ONES" Other ideas would be to send him pages on his sports team. I keep Dustin updated on the NBA playoffs right now and Biggest Loser as that was one of our favorite shows. He said thanks for keeping posted on the outside world.. I had all his friends write a message on his facebook wall and I copied that and mailed it to him. I wrote him a couple letters from his dogs.. He loved that.. I made them really funny..Let us know if you need more irea's.. : )
