Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

no letter for me but my son and daughter in law and my mom got there's today...shes exhausted but shes fine and of course misses home but dont they all...shes fine and having a good learning experience..good luck to the rest of you...maybe mine will be there 2maro...

ugh! SO NO LETTER...sheesh!..and the letter i mailed two days ago got sent back to me cuz i needed 1 cent...seriously...what the heck USPS cant afford my 1 cent apperently it was over the 44cent rate...all i have to say is wow...but i re mailed it today

My Daniel said they get to write on Sunday,so he will write at least once a week, so I'm sure all the letters will be here this week!!!!!

By any chance do you know when those letters wer mailed? I d llike to know if a letter may have been sent to me ... butt since i am in canada it takes longer to geet here and then monday is a holiday in canada so no mail.. so if it got mailed monday i may have to wait till tuesday:(

I got my LETTER..........I am so relieved and happy and of course I cried,as did dad & the brothers (mostly because I was crying..)
Daniel said boot camp is not as bad as he thought it would be, the food is good the bunks are comfortable ,the shots weren't that bad and he gets his wisdom teeth pulled next week, & the ROC's don't yell any more then I do so he is OK,and you only get yelled at if u screw up (he hasn't yet...) they made him a section leader and he misses me!

I hope everyone gets their letter this week!
