I got my first letter and call on Wednesday of the third week. I got my letter telling me that she would be calling that day, but I forgot to take my cell phone with me to work, and didn't read the letter until I got to work. :( I did get my ex husband to bring it to me (Thank God!) or I would have missed her call. She didn't have any numbers with her, and could only call numbers that she could remember. I forgot that I had my ringer was off because I had been to the dentist earlier that day, then looked down and realized that I was getting a call. It was Katie calling, she had been trying to get ahold of me for 20 mins and couldn't. She was crying. I felt like I had let her down. Make sure that you send phone numbers to your sailors so that they can get ahold of someone. I am guessing that most of you will get letters and or maybe even phone calls tomorrow. I know that it will be a great relief. I am excited for all of you, I know that it made me feel so much better.
Adam I hope that you hear from Hayley on Wednesday too! I posted some of your Wedding photos that I took, on facebook. I miss her too! Let me know what she says.

CakersMOM; Sometimes they make them wait 3 weeks... But I just know we will see letters tomorrow or Thursday. I am not just saying that to get your hopes up.. They are coming.. I dont think he is in trouble they just keep them very busy so they have little time to try and miss home. Which is a comfort for me in a way... We all know the emptiness of opening that box and all we see is bills and catalogs... : ( Their love is on the way to us I just know it..

SWCCWife: I have been suction cupped to my front window every Saturday waiting for the new Saturday mailman to come. The old mail man was here between 10 -11 this guy doesnt roll through until 3 - 4. I think this Saturday I am going to have to wait at the box and have a little chitty chat with him on mail delivery etitqutte.. LOL.. Or I am going to protest until I get the old mail man back... : )

I received my first letter today. I could have hugged the mailman. Cory said he was doing fine but has to have his wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow. I hope that goes well for him. He will be in SIQ for a day or two. He did say he really liked all of the letters and we should keep them coming. I was so happy to hear from him today it has made my week so far. Next the phone call. I can't wait. I hope everyone gets their letter soon, Hang in there ladies!!!!

I still have yet to recieve a handwritten letter from Caleb. I check the mail everyday and still no letter. He's been there two weeks. I really hope that he's not in trouble or for some reason they are not letting him write. I hate this. I so look forward to getting just something from him. So Sad for me.
