Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thanks to you moms who got me here! I learned from you, and my son (via letter), today of this graduation date! He is, as my new name states, in Ship 9, Div 226. His name is GeraldQ -- anyone else with son here?

Hurrah the form letter came. My son, William, is in Ship 9 Div 224. Now we can plan on attending the PIR and I can mail the long letter to him. The short notes from him on the letter told me the food was good and all is well.

my daughter graduates on the 25th tooo..just gone done making hotel reservations...dont like to count my chickens b4 they hatch but i can always cancel if something happens she doesnt grad on that day...be safe then sorry...the motel i reserv. has a shuttle to and from graduation....so we dont drive that day..

CAKERSMOM: I told Dustin I dont care if I dont get a letter as long as he is taking the time to enjoy reading all the letters he is receiving.. I wanted him to feel lifted up.. But if he has a chance to write I better be the top of his list and his girlfriend needs to take second seat.. : )

Kylesproudmom; AWW I am soooo very happy for you... What a joy to your grandson their to share the momemt with you I am sure he could the exceitment from you.. His words said so much.. Like thank you mom for being the mom and women you are to help me succeed at being the man I want to be... I wrote to Caleb everyday on his FB, I couldn't wait to print them out and mail them today. I tried not to make them to lengthy because I think they limited to the amount to time they can spend reading and writing to us. So proud of them.

Phillymom I think we may be going crazy with the website but it definatly helps...I have started a thread for your sons division! So you can create groups of support within the PIR! Sounds like your son is a amazing!
