Yeah, that's kind of what I figured...I got my call on Tuesday, 31min31sec! I wonder if some of these guys were in recovery from the wisdom teeth thing, so they missed placing their call. I know the guy on watch missed making his call. He had just replaced my son for watch, so my son got to call. Weird to feel so elated, but guilty. ugh. My SR said he offered to call the guy's mom, but the guy was stoic and said that he was fine. I think they are already working as a team and caring for each other! I know the guy's last name but can't say it in case he is SEAL/SWCC.
My son said they got fitted for their dress uniforms Tuesday. I had heard they get their grad pictures taken around week 4 so I told him what to order. He said he is getting fat because the food is good and they don't run at all. Not good prep for preBUDs, but what are you gonna do?
Happy Mothers Day to all the moms and soon to be moms out there. I heard that some SRs were able to make phone calls, I hope some of were lucky enough to hear from your sons!
that's what I'm thinking its going to be for! I hope it will be!
I just got a phone call from my husband. He got assigned his new job and is very excited about it! His leg is healing well and is off lite duty now! He said the division will be having a test on Wednesday. They also have P.I. this week which is very important for them all to pass so they don't have to do I.T. Thursday and Friday they are going to be practicing S.A.M.T (small arms marksmanship training.) They are also working on the design of their division flag. My husband advised me that they have a busy week ahead of them and weren't going to be able to write much until down time on Sunday.
