Lol, I dunno if it's being encouraged more as much as they finally start doing everything exactly and precisely the way they are supposed to and they get yelled at less than the first week as a result. I still haven't heard from my hubby, which makes me think they must be pretty busy with rehearsals. 02/929 It would be a nice Easter present to get a phone call either tomorrow or Sunday, but I suppose I'll just have to hurry and wait!

Z'sGirl:  As Jessica said, it does get better.  The first weeks are pretty tough for them.  By about Week 4 of training (not counting processing days), they start getting more encouraged...so hang in there!

KylesMom:  You should probably drive to the airport to see him off.  Maybe you can meet up with others in his division who would be happy to give you a lift since you are alone?  Hope you are going to the MeetNGreet and you can talk about it there with the other ladies.

What do you think the chances are that we'll get our 3 week call on Easter?  That would be nice  :)

Man! My son is in 11/186! I hope he's not one of them in trouble! He didn't indicate that in his letter. He didn't say anything about the other guys. Hmmm.....I'll just stick with no news is good news.

I got my first letter today from my bf that is in division 11/186.  He did not seem very upbeat at all.  He sounded ok but said things were really tough for his group.  I was so excited to hear how much he loved and missed me but some of the stories he told about other guys in his group broke my heart.  He said that they will catch you off guard doing the smallest thing and cuss you up and down.  He did say though without a doubt he was going to make it! I'm so excited I finally heard from him but I hope these next few weeks are better than the first three.

At Tiffsmom ~ Yes 10 in his division 11/186 for various reasons he didn't get into. But I had read on here from another mom in the same one that that division was in trouble alot because they had some that were having 'difficulty'.  That could be some of the reason?  When I had read that before hearing from him, I was hoping it wasn't him!  It's not! ;-)

At Parrothdgal ~ My SR is headed to San Antonio for MAA too!  I was hoping he wouldn't be headed out until after the weekend.  But it looks like Saturday morning now per FB.  We will look for stuff to do too. Unfortunately Oprah will be done filming when we get there...boo!  She has a store tho! lol

Grad and go sailors will know about 3 weeks before the end of boot camp (at the latest). Pensacola sailors will more than likely be grad and go, although it's kind of dumb because once they get to Pensacola some will wait weeks before classes actually start.
