I'm just guessing that's all it is mmiles.  Maybe we can make a group effort to get these kids some mail! :o)

So if we wanted to write letters for our PIR Group we would need to do it in a private message either through the group you mentioned below or we could send the same private message within our group (either to the entire group or just the ones of us that want to write), is that correct? So we are not posting anything publically.

Hope you do not mind this interruption from the Group ANSWER http://www.navyformoms.com/group/answer_adoptasailorwriteeveryrecruit.

Yet since your already talking about SR's & mail please read on.

In research, we have learned that nearly every Divsion/PIR group has some SR(s) that are not receiving any mail or may be in recovery and would truly appreciate & love more communication. If you hear from your/any SR about someone who could sure use some kind encouraging words. Please contact me by message or request to join our group as described below.

Should you not want to join the group yet have a name(s) for us to write. You do need to friend request me, Hunters_Mom by a PRIVATE message with the SR Name(s) & address.

To join and share, first;, friend Hunters_Mom. .Next, Request to join the groupAfter approval to join (may take a day or two) you can then compose a 'Send Message to Group’, with the envelope icon. You can then send the SR’s name and address privately by 'Send Message to Group’ ONLY, with any particular notes so we may offer correctly tailored words of support in a card, note, or letter to them.

Again, please do not post any SR names, address, information in or on ANY PUBLIC FORUM or even the comments section within our own groups.

All good stuff, Felicia

Great idea to ask our own RC's for the names of people in their divisions to send letters, jokes, cards or whatever too!! Just to lift some spirits! Let's take care of all the guys and gals with a PIR of 6/3!!!!

Shi 2/929  All I've gotten so far is the form letter too.  I'm hoping maybe tomorrow.  I'm guessing that they are sooooooo busy with extra stuff that they just haven't had the time and/or energy to write  :)

Tiffsmom...

You will soon!!!  I'll bet tomorrow you will get something.  My SR said there are other girls wanting to leave.  They all really need support.  I am going to ask for names of SR's that don't get mail.

That is so sad there are some not getting any mail!! I write every night and mail every other day to my son. I would be happy to send a letter to someone who is not getting any mail. That must be so difficult. I also have not gotten any personal letters or phone calls yet. Ship 07 Div 187. Driving me out of my mind!!! I run to the mailbox every day!!!

My daughter liked the "real" uniforms as well. We need to ask are SR's who is not getting mail My daughter said there are several girls getting no mail at all. We can send letter to them. I know there is a group that is doing that but I see no reason why we cant get together and do that among us. I can’t imagine not having anyone to talk to!!! My SR said she is not allowed to talk about any personal issues with other SR’s So if you have no family to write what then? :o(  Please add my SR to your prayer list!
