Hello All!  My name is mmiles (aka Michelle) I am now the new ADMIN for the group since LisaB received her letter and her Recruit will be graduating a week earlier!  If you have any questions please let me know.  Also please remember do not type in the last name of your recruiit any where on thie website....big NO-NO for the Navy!

Remember we are all in the same boat, have many of the same concerns, have many of the same questions, expiriencing the same emotions! Basically we all need the same support! So please use this group to get any support you need!  I hope you will all be able to attend PIR so we can then finally meet in person as well!!    THANKS!!!

Be sure to go to the events page and RSVP for the Meet & Greet Thursday night before graduation! This is a free event even if your not staying at that hotel.

Thank you everyone for your comments and advice I'll be changing her picture now to one of her favorites.  The sight said to post a pic of your sailor...so I did...and I should know better...lol.  As most know by now my oldest son did five years in the Army.  At the time the only group was a yahoo group and at times got very catty...is that how you spell it?

The no communication is the worst that is why I HATE boot camp.  Even when my son was in Iraq I talked to him at least once a week and chatted on AIM and FB often.  I just have to keep reminding myself this to will pass.

I go into Allies room...I'm going to deep clean it for her for when she gets to come home...I'm guessing Christmas....so I have some time to get it done...lol

I just want to know why it is TAKING FOREVER for that first real letter????

Thanks for listening to me vent.

If anyone has facebook, could you post the picture of the day from the RTC page. I saw a link once, but can't remember which group it was in.

I spent last weekend totally cleaning my daughter's room. I now have a picture-perfect "guest"/computer room. Now it's motivated me to clean up my room as well -- a good project to keep my busy again this weekend :)
