OOOPS!  Just saw that mmiles offered to be an administrator.  YAH!  That is great.  And we can help her too...just ask!  All of us veterans have had our own groups so we can help, and Jessica is a whiz at helping to set up the countdown clock and weather widget!

Lisa, I hope you don't delete the group, but rather do as Jessica suggested and ask for a volunteer on here to be the administrator (maybe 2 people!).  That way, that person can add a picture icon for the group, a countdown clock, etc....all of the powers that you have.  You could then name that volunteer at the top of the page so that all know she is in charge.  I started the PIR 3/4/11 group but gave control to 2 ladies on there.  You can pull that group up and see what I said at the top of the page, where I let all on there know that these 2 ladies were in control of the site.  They did a great job!

Any volunteers on here to help Lisa out so she can get to her correct PIR group?

Z's girl:  The mail is usually held from them for the first 2 weeks of bootcamp. Some ladies write using a recruiter's address and then your SR receives the letters all at once when mail is allowed.  Other's wait for the form letter address (this usually arrives within the first 2 weeks).  Sometimes the recruiter's address is not totally accurate, so be sure to check with the form letter one...which should be correct.  Letters will eventually get to the SRs, but may take a bit longer if the address is off a bit.

Jessica, Lala, Betsy, janlee and I are all veterans on the site and will be happy to answer any questions you may have, so ask away!

Lujos Mom:  Since the cell phone was in his name, his account, I can see where they can't suspend this without his permission or you having Power of Attorney.  The privacy laws now are so specific.  Maybe write a letter to your son about it, but don't see how he can do anything while in bc.  You may just have to endure it. I didn't suspend my son's either (nor did he)....account was his own when he left for bc.  I DID have POA before he left so I could have done this, but he didn't want it.  Oh well...chi-ching!  You could send him the address to cancel himself...maybe with an addressed envelope, stamped that he could mail from there to the company?  That would be the only suggestion that I have.  He could mention that you have already sent a copy of his orders to them.  Worth a try?
