That's awesome Elizabeth! What a relief that must have been just to hear his voice.

I got a 20 minute phone call this morning from my son. He said many things and sounded very tired. Seems they and he have had a couple of extra sessions of PT. He had two of his wisdom teeth out on Thursday. He told me the medical there was top notch. He said he was encouraged to go back for a recheck whenever he needed to. He also was seen after vomiting for awhile one night and they put him on IV because he was dehydrated. He repeated twice that the medical was top notch. Made me feel much better. He sounded very tired and he said he was up twice that night. Once for watch once for ironing. Seems if the (What is the acronym again....RDA) doesn't like the way someone has folded, all their stuff and yours and a whole lot more goes in the middle and you do it again. (And he used to call me OCD.) He said he got two days SIQ after the wisdom teeth and a day of light duty. He stressed to me that graduation dates can change. That six recruits that he was aware of were delayed because of medical issues, illness and such. I do feel better after hearing from him. He said the PT was not as bad as he would have thought. They had a change with the RDA (?) and he is a lot tougher on them. He says the food is very good with a lot of choices.

I know what you mean Jamie'sMom. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks for me too. I wish it was more, then I'd get to see my bf and hear his voice again. Nothing comforts me like the sound of his voice.

Time seems to be dragging! I was thinking my son had left three weeks ago and it's actually only been two weeks tomorrow! It's going to be a long 8 weeks!

Thank you for clarifying! That helps! Be still my beating heart! It would be great if we could get overnights! But, I won't get my hopes up. I'll just enjoy what is ahead :)
