Let's help those who are coming to PIR by themselves find each other so that no one is traveling alone from the airport to Great Lakes.

I am packed and we leave in a couple of hours. I was doing the name tags if you want to message me with your info Name and screen name I can get them printed I am going to print a few blank ones that don't get backed to me. I will check the site to day and then print when I get to the hotel. Good luck to everyone. I will keep all the sailors that still need to go though BS in my prayers. I will see at the meet-n-greet or at the PIR.

I am actually off today to prepare. Just made a pie for my daughter the pet/house sitter. Have to clean and go to the store for travel food. I hate to eat thruway food.... I also have to leave some food for my daughter, that is her pay. And, I am making cheesecake brownies for the "sailor" at his request. Actually he said that he would eat anything with real sugar in it:). Waiting to hear about BS from last night. Travel safe!

At my internship site right now and cannot concentrate at all on my work... I am just way too excited!! I have about a thousand things to do when i get home at 3pm today, including packing, cleaning, and dropping off all my pets at my parent's house. Then I am leaving with my fiance's parents at 3am tomorrow to make the 12hr drive to Great Lakes!! Hoping I get the "I'm a sailor" call soon.... I have a couple classroom guidance lessons later and I really hope he doesn't call when I am in front of the class! Oh well, we are just playing a study skills jeopardy game... I think I might just leave the room for a moment to answer my phone :-) Safe travels to everyone!

Has anyone heard what time the G&G are going to leave or be at the airport on Saturday morning? The last I heard was 2am, not sure if that was leaving base though. Last time I talked to Robby said they hadn't received their travel docs/info yet. I was hoping for another call this week sometime but haven't heard from him since Sunday. We are trying to meet up with him to pass off those important "electronic items", the problem is we leave on a early flight too but out of Midway.

Got my call! I acted surprised because I was. Joe said "you knew I was going to call, you're on N4M's!" I said "how'd you know?" He said "the RTC's check and tell us what our Moms say!" Remarkable!

Everyone have a safe trip. I work tomorrow and have so much to get done before I can leave then off to the airport to spend the night and get on an early flight. I'll see some of you at the M&G and the rest at PIR!

Ok, it's 11:40pm here in Pittsburgh and I must go to sleep ... I have to work tomorrow. I could stay on here all night.

Anyways, just want to say once more ... please be safe all of you Wednesday travelers. And because you'll be traveling, I won't talk to you again until after PIR ... So, have a wonderful time on 6/4 wth your new US Navy Recruit. Hopefully we'll meet up but if not, have a wonderful time.

And to all of you Thursday travelers ... I'll talk to you tomorrow.

Good night ;-)

SusanM... Ahhhh, so that was you that had the case of ADD? It's definately contagous and I got it ... but hey, no one has to twist my arm to take a few M&M's - chocolate is my middle name.

Shelly ... Don't even think about that work place ... once you're gone, there's no looking back. That work wll be there when you get back ... shut it out of your mind. You've got more exciting things ahead of you. I too have to work tomorrow and then I'm flying out on Thursday morning ... I can't tell you how excited I am. I just hope my day at work tomorrow goes fast. It'll be like being a kid and waiting for xmas morning to come ... it seemed like it took forever!

To those of you traveling tomorrow .. please be SAFE.
Newyearsbaby ... Please be safe with that car of yours ... do you have triple AAA? Are you traveling by yourself?

My candle is lit for the recruite doing BS-21 tonight. And then once more for tomorrows crew.

And yes ... we're so close to those hugs ... I'm so excited!
