My son is on Ship 07 Div 230.

Great, how is he doing? and how are you doing?
My son is also in this division. I have received one letter so far but no phone calls as of yet. What about you guys!
Hi Southern Mom, same here, one letter but no phone call..I am getting anxious to talk to him.   :)
My son is in this Division also... We have gotten a couple letters and he's called twice... But both calls have been to his girlfriend. Has everyone made travel arrangements yet?
Wow 2 phone calls already?  that's great!  We were looking into the travel today, we are from the St.Louis, Mo area, so we just have to drive a few hours..thought about taking the train, our 7 year old would love it, but I think it's turning out to be to big a venture, so I am sure we will drive. Looking into staying at the Ramada..Getting very excited!!
my son is,we have received 2 letters but no phone call yet, getting excited to see him.I haven't made reservations yet.
Still waiting on a phone call :(
ME TOO! :( This waiting is awful.  His girlfriend told us he had to have his wisdom teeth pulled last week and he wasn't feeling too great.  We are from Missouri too (Joplin area) and are driving up on Thursday, the 14th.  We are hoping to catch at least part of the Meet & Greet that night.
We are driving up on the 14th also, my son may have had his wisdom teeth pulled also, we figured he would have to but weren't sure when that would take place. We have sitting here tonight trying to figure out what to do while we are there, Jon did say before he left he wants to go to the Field Museum whe are there , been taking a look into that. his dad and I used to live in Chicago but that's been along time ago.
Mother bear, I just realized you said you were from the Joplin area, are you all okay from the tornado's?
We are all fine....  My mother in law lost her house and car, but that's all replaceable stuff. She was safe and sound taking cover in her bathroom which was the only room without any damage. She has moved in with us for the time being. I work about 500 yards from the worst of the damaged area and it just tears me up inside to see it EVERYDAY! Our son left the morning of the 22nd, then the storm hit around 5:45 that evening. I was a walking "BAWL BAG" for the first couple days. lol
