My boyfriend is Ship 02 DIV 934. I have found several people through this group and the Facebook RTC with the 7/8 PIR group, but not so many 934. Hopefully, this small discussion board will help connect some of us! :) It makes me feel so much better to chat with people who actually have loved ones doing the exact same thing! :)

My son is in this division as well.  How is your boyfriend doing?  We got three letters from our son yesterday.  We are looking forward to going to PIR.  Are you going to the meet & greet the night before PIR?
All he said was to have our cell phones with us from 6/30 until 7/4.  I am guessing it is sometime that week.  Of course, I have my cell with me all the time.  His dad is the one it's tough to get in touch with because of where he works - at a local hospital & he doesn't always get signal.  But I'm sure he will that week.
I know what you mean.  It's going to be great to see them.
My son is aiso in this Division!!! Three more weeks!!! Cant wait!!!
My daughter is in this division.  I got a call from her on Tuesday, June 7, I think it was, and one letter before that, but nothing since.  She was feeling tired and frustrated.  Has anyone heard anything since about how their division is doing?
My daughter is in that division. She said they have been doing better as a team. Much better than before. It is really hard on their group. They are all tired and frustrated. Their man ( i just went blank for the term, sorry) wants them to win and he is pushing them very hard for them to win. I hope they do, they will be so proud of themselves. My daughter has been sick all but five days since they arrived, but she is really wanting this bad. I am so excited to see them perform.  They perform July 1st graduation and July 4th and their Graduation July 8th.  Hope to see you there.   GJO Kristin's mom

We have been hearing from our son every week.  He told us that his group is the last one for the chief they have so they are really getting pushed hard.  He told us last week to keep the phone close on June 30-July 1.  I presume this will be the "I'm a sailor" call.

Diane1954 Which Div. is he in?  My daughter is Ship 02 DIV 934. I Don't have any idea when they may call. I should get a letter or 2 or3 tomorrow.  I think they are in the same Div.  but there have been some that are not.  Just being sure.   Can't wait to see them.

 Thanks  GJO  Kristin's mom

Kristin:  my son is in the same as your daughter.  Ship 02 Div 934.  Our son said he was in an intergrated division (men & women).  He thinks they are starting to come together.  The days can't pass quickly enough.  Now, if I can just get my work caught up!  I have a lot to do & not a lot of days to do it.
Thanks so much for the info.  I'm glad to hear they are doing better as a team.  That's what my daughter was worried about, too.  I sure hope I get a letter from her today!  Hope to see you at PIR!
Me too.  Wednesday has become letter day.  It's something my husband & I look forward to.  Of course, I get the mail before he gets home.  I do wait until he gets home & then we read them out loud so we both get the info at the same time.  Needless to say, it's really hard waiting for him to get home when I know there is a letter in my hand from our son.
I got a letter today!  She said things are going much better.  She is counting the days until PIR, and wants deep dish pizza and a decadent dessert on her liberty.  Only 15 more days now!
