Sometimes the mail is just inconsistent.  Most of the time I get them Wednesday, but one week I didn't get it until Thursday.

God has been so good to us!  He has really been there to help hubby get through RTC and has answered his prayers.  He has also answered so many prayers for me lately.  I feel so very blessed!!

Do they generally just go with 2 divisions at a time for Battlestations?
Comment by diannep on June 22, 2011 at 3:37pm

proudmom:  Thanks for the BattleStations info for 220 (which means for 219 too which is their brother division).  I have now started the schedule up top in the BattleStations discussion group.

221+222 are brother divisions.  It is possible that they will go with 219+ 220 since 4 divisions can go at a time, but not necessarily.  Be asking your SRs and posting dates!

I meant to pass on yesterday that when my son called he said they are doing firefighting training today and tomorrow and gas chamber on Friday.  They will be doing battlestations next Thurs/Fri.  Meant to include that in my post yesterday but was so excited to hear from him!  :-)

navyrocks:  Others before you have stayed in that area without issue.  Just means that you are up a bit earlier so you can arrive in time to get in the car line for entrance into PIR.  Homewood Suites has been reported to be nice.

MidwestMom:  Isn't that the truth that sometimes we concentrate so much on what is WRONG that the blessings surrounding us are unappreciated and may just go away!  I try to thank the Lord each morning on my "dog/prayer 2 mile walk" for my many blessings...because when we think of it...we are all blessed to have family members in the Navy...and just to live in this country!

My Bernie: how is your SR doing?
Comment by diannep on June 22, 2011 at 11:35am
rackie....AMEN....again!  To be able to pray without ceasing, giving thanks in ALL situations no matter how tragic, is such a sign of faith....believing without always understanding circumstances and trusting that our Lord will create good out of them.  Kind of "unconditional" belief in our Lord...just like we have "unconditional" love for our children and family members.  AMEN!

Is it really possible to pray without ceasing, and to give thanks in all circumstances? Most of us can probably think of situations in which it would be very difficult to praise God; but the Bible teaches us that through Christ, it is possible to maintain a spirit of praise and thankfulness in even the most trying circumstances.

"Rejoice always, pray continually,  give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)

God bless!! Prayers to each and everyone of us and our families!
