I think its a little bit over a mile.. very walkable!! Are you attending the meet and greet on July 7th?

Ughh! A taxi is going to be sooooo expensive! Do u think the suites are close enough I can walk to PIR? That's my main concern.

Please help! Some one I met at facebook who has the same PIR date is having trouble with signing up an account here in N4M. Her account is pending for approval. Any one has the same experience?

I'm flying into O'Hare, and I don't know what I'm going to do about getting around, I'm staying on base at the Navy Gateway Inn, but if my husband and I want to leave base idk how we will go anywhere. I'm only 18 so idk if I can even rent a car. Any suggestions?

Yes I'm nervous about driving too but it sounds like a car might be the best way to go.

It is very expensive to get a shuttle from and too the airport. Usually $75.00 each way so renting a car is best and least expensive option.

Hello - We are flying into Midway and trying to avoid renting a car.  Does anyone have suggestions on bus/shuttles from the airport to the Great Lakes area?

...oh, they are located in back of the bleachers, from what I was told.  You can "scout them out" when you arrive. I would make sure to leave for PIR EARLY so you can pick your seats.  Arriving into the PIR Hall between 7 and 7:15 would give you good seat selection.

There are several bathrooms there, J'smom.  I would try to use one right before the actual ceremony starts (9 am, but lots of pre-ceremony stuff)...and make sure that you sit right by an aisle.  There are a couple of times during the ceremony where they may ask you not to get out of your seat, but most of the time-- you can go.

There are plenty of children there so no problem with bathroom visits.
