DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

TickledTink:  Remember, you are dealing with the USPS AND the Navy mail system...double jeopardy on letters getting there!  But most do...sometimes it just takes a while.  If he ends up being connected to a ship for his 1st duty, wait until you try to mail him something then!  Even if in port...or dry docked....it takes a LONG time...like 3 weeks or more....even priority mail!  I tracked the last priority mail I sent my son...his ship is dry docked...USPS delivered it to the Navy address in 3 days...took 17 more days to reach my sailor.  UGH!

Got hubby's letter today.  He said he got my letter marked #2, but not the first one.  I mailed them both on the same day, so weird!

I am sorry I have been MIA most of the day. I have had a lot of pain on the right side of my face and thought it was from a tooth. I spent over 3 hours waiting to be worked in at the dentist office and they found nothing wrong, not as much as a single cavity. It hurts to yawn, hurts to eat and my glands are swollen along with a lot of pain. No clue what it is. I will have to wait until Monday to go to the DR because they are closed on Fridays :-( Thanks goodness for pain meds :-} I will be around off and on tomorrow as I work on the ribbons. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.
